Status Report - 2016.12.11 - Fulfillment Progress

Currently Fulfilling 

Zone 2 - USA - Blue Nano Logistics have shipped out 2300/5000 as of Friday.  They also worked all weekend on packing and will begin shipping the remainder tomorrow morning.  We are hoping for completion by mid week.  

Zone 4 - South East Asia - Games will be packed and sent out starting tomorrow.  It will take up to a week to send them all out.

Zone 6 - China & Worldwide (not part of any other zone) - Games will be packed and sent out starting tomorrow. It will take up to a week to send them all out.

Fulfilling Early January

Zone 1 - Canada - Games destined for Canada are on a truck right now.  Fulfillment of these will begin January 3 or so.

Zone 3 - Australia & NZ - Games on boat destined for Australia.  We will have a more accurate time frame by Wednesday, but still looking at early January for fulfillment.

Zone 5 - Europe and Middle East - Games were at customs Friday.  Awaiting update from Happyshops.  Will post in comments as soon as we know the current status.  Still slated for January 3 or so for fulfillment to begin.

Please Read! Some Areas to Be Shipped Santorini Next Week!

Important: Some backers will receive their games before Christmas.  

This is a hard update for us to write.  We tried our absolute best to have everyone receive their games before Christmas, but it looks as though only a few areas will be ready.  The rest of the games will be shipped according to the original plan of early January.

Shipping Next Week

We will be sending a 48 hour lock down notification to backers in the areas below from BackerKit.  You will have 48 hours to change your address.  Please ensure that if you are travelling, that you adjust your address to a trusted friend or relative.  If you have moved, update your address. We will be sending these backer lists to fulfillment partners on Monday night (December 5), at which time, no further changes to addresses will be possible for these areas. 

Zone 2 - USA - In order to save freight time, we decided to ship the USA backers' games to the west coast.  The result is that these games will be ready to ship out next week.  
Estimated Shipping Date: December 6-9

Zone 4 - South East Asia - These games are nearly ready to send.  Our fulfillment partner, Boarders game Cafe has been massively professional and responsive.  These games will be ready to ship out the week after next.

Zone 6 - China & Worldwide (not part of any other zone) - These should be ready to send next week.

Early January (Original Schedule)

The areas below will be receiving their games in early January according to the original schedule.  If you are in one of these areas, we will not be locking your address down quite yet.

Zone 1 - Canada - Games destined for Canada need to be forwarded from California to the staging area in Vancouver before being sent out to Canadian Backers.  These will likely arrive in Canada just before Christmas.   Other than to unload the games into their warehouse, our fulfillment service will likely be closed for the holidays.  The games must be shipped from within Canada to ensure that you are not required to pay duty / GST on them.

Zone 3 - Australia & New Zealand - Truth be told, games destined for Australia & New Zealand should have been in the pre-Christmas shipping category.  They should be in Australia right now.  However, the freight forwarder we assigned to ship the games from China to Australia dropped the ball.   The responsibility for this delay can only rest on the shoulders of Roxley, as you entrust us to select agencies that will perform freight accurately and efficiently, and we sincerely apologize.   We have assigned a another firm to take over this task, and luckily we are still on schedule to able to make our Early January shipping date.

Zone 5 - Europe, Israel, Middle East - Europe is a long way from China.  We knew this, and therefore ensured that the container destined for Germany was prioritized as the first one to leave the port.  Other than Australia, this is the only container ship that still hasn't made it to port yet.  It is set to arrive in Hamburg on December 8.  From there the container will be sent to Happyshops in Merseburg by truck.  They will likely make it to Merseburg close to Christmas, and therefore we are still planning for a January shipping date for these.

Why not have everyone receive their game at the same time?

When the USA shipment became ready to send, we were left with a very hard decision to make: have everyone receive their games at the same time in January, or ship out to the Zones that are ready now.   Normally, we would have everyone receive their games at the same time.  But because Santorini is a family game, and Christmas is approaching, we felt it would be even worse to hold these games back from families to enjoy together during the holidays.

Status Report - 2016.11.27 - Zeus Edition to EU Backers This Week!

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to our American friends.  :)

Expected Delivery Date: January 2017

However, it may be possible for backers to receive the game it before Christmas. Again, this is is still not likely, but we would like to prepare people for the possibility. We will be working with our fulfillment companies this week to determine if this is possible.

Current Work

Freight Vessel Locations - Boats are still on the ocean. No further delays to report.  We asked our fulfillment service for freight vessel tracking information last week.  However they were closed and celebrating Thanksgiving.  We hope to receive this information tomorrow.

 Zeus Editions are on their way to backers and have already been received by many.  

Zeus Editions going to EU backers will be shipping out from Germany this week.  Shipping to Germany first was required in order to avoid backers paying VAT.

Status Report - 2016.11.20 - Zeus Editions Shipping Out!

Zeus update:  Zeus Editions have been sent out to Canada, USA, Australia and International backers.  

Zeus Edition - EU Customers: To ensure our EU backers are not saddled with duty or any hold up at customs, we will be shipping the games first to EU and then shipping them to backers from Germany.  This will add 5 days or so to delivery.  We are hoping to have these sent out by December 2nd.  

Current Work

Freight - Games are still on the ocean.  No delays to report.  This week we will try to obtain the vessel numbers so that we can track the container ship so that you can see your games on the ocean!  Fun!

Video reviewing is hard work for often not a huge amount of reward.  Yet the board game industry really relies on these reviewers to spread the word about new and awesome games.  Man VS Meeple, who recently reviewed Santorini is currently running a Kickstarter.  

To show our support and appreciation for these hard working folks, Roxley has created a new God Power, Tyche, which is available on their Kickstarter page as part of their reward levels.  

Note: Roxley does not do exclusive content, so Tyche will also be available for Print and Play download on our website, and the printed version will also be available for direct purchase from Roxley.  We will also likely include Tyche in a future expansion.

Status Report - 2016.11.13 - Zeus Editions This Week!

Today's update is all business.  Zeus Edition copies will arrive in Calgary this week for final assembly.  After assembly we will be shipping them out.  We hope to have the majority of them sent by the end of the week.

Current Work

Freight - Games are leaving port soon, or have already left.  We will provide another update next weekend with more details.

Fulfillment - The plan is still to perform all fulfillment after Christmas.  We will inform everyone if by some miracle we are able to get it done before.
